No Title, 2000 From the series: Engineer of Souls Video-Performance In an absolutely dark, cavelike room of a wing of La Cabaņa, the floor was covered with moldering cane sugar that emitted an intensely sour smell. The only light came from a monitor hanging at the end of the vault. It showed a video with short takes of Fidel Castro. Once one's eyes had adjusted to the darkness, one saw a few naked men lingering, unmoving, in the room. |
