Wifredo Lam
Works by the great Cuban artist (1902 - 1982) on paper and canvas from the collection of the National Museum for Fine Arts in Havana.
Location: Memorial José Martí

Contemporary Graphics
Graphics from the collection of the Brandywine Workshop in Philadelphia which has developed a multicultural program on themes and artists belonging to ethnic minorities in the USA. In addition, it has realized several joint projects with artists from other countries who have explored the diverse graphic techniques.
Location: Palacio del Segundo Cabo

Cuban Ceramics
Works by 15 artists in various formats and techniques, particularly installations. This exhibition is part of the ceramic workshop that took place previously.
Location: Castillo de la Real Fuerza, seat of the Museum for Cuban Ceramics.

First International Audiovisual and Multimedia Show
Thanks to the enthusiastic collaboration with artists who have worked in this field for some time, works of video art and other audiovisual techniques were shown within the scope of the Havana Biennial for the first time. The exhibition comprises works by authors from Colombia, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, Canada and Sweden. The curators are Eurídice Arratia, Venezuelan art critic, and the Cuban video expert Raysa White
