The National Center for Conservation, Restoration and Museology (Centro
Nacional de Conservación, Restauración y Museología)
is - as the name already states - responsible for the preservation and
restoration of Cuba's cultural heritage. Alongside its scientific and
technical facilities, it comprises training centers, as well as information
and research centers.
It is located in Old Havana in the building complex of the former Convento
de Santa Clara, a cloister from the 17th century.
