Lotus Mantra. 2006
Performance and mixed media installation
The artist wrote those parts of the Lotus Sutra which tell the story of Kwan Im (eg. Guanyin), as she is the goddess of the Temple, on real lotus blossoms and leaves. The blossoms' withering process allows the visitors to ponder the precarious nature of human life.
