Pusan International Contemporary Art Festival 2000 2 October - 27 November 2000
Pusan International Contemporary Art Festival 2000
The 2nd edition of the International Contemporary Art Festival in Busan (formerly spelled Pusan - see Info) has the main theme:
Pa   PA - Togetherness in life
According to the organizers, the Korean word "Pa" (see character) represents an open image of the sea, which reflects the regional characteristics of Busan. "Pa" also means "wave, oscillation and/or energy", which can be understood as a process of change.

"Togetherness in Life" is described as an oriental cognition in the sense of "universal human desire, unconditional mercy and love which is the basis of togetherness".
